Unfortunately our zucchini plants got an infestation of aphids this summer. I'd heard you could order live lady bugs online to eat the aphids off your plants so I gave it a try. I ordered a bag that came with I think 5,000 little critters in it. If nothing else I knew it would be a fun experience for our girls.

The lady bugs did a good job eating the aphids but I think it was too late. My plants stopped producing zucchini after the infestation. It was late in the season too so maybe that contributed. I'd buy the lady bugs again though just to have the fun experience with the girls!
