Daddy The Horse And His Cowgirl!

Big Girl Bed!

We finally made the switch from crib to a big girl bed!

I was afraid that Morgan would struggle with this because we made a lot of changes to her room all at once. We moved her changing table, diaper bin and crib into the nursery. Of course she didn't even blink an eye and seemed nothing but excited about the changes.

This is how we found her after her first night in her big girl bed. She slept in past 9 am! God bless our little girl!

It's been a couple of weeks now and she's still doing great! Yay Morgan! The transition of her room from nursery to toddler/preschooler room is still a work in progress. Stay tuned.

Remember These Mom & Dad?

This weekend we held a yard sale to get rid of a bunch of stuff. We made more than $200 AND organized our garage in the process! Morgan enjoyed seeing her old baby stuff again.

I found a bin containing old toys from my childhood. It was like an early Christmas for Morgan!

Remember these Mom and Dad?

I can't believe how perfectly this sweatshirt fits her!

My parents put me in this sweatshirt one year to go Christmas tree shopping. It has my name (Angie) on it. While shopping for trees Santa walked up to me and said, "Have you been a good girl this year, Angie?" I remember being awe struck because Santa called me by name! How did he know my name? That was amazing to me and I'll never forget it!

I played with this bear when I was around the same age as Morgan is now. Finding this bin and watching Morgan play with all my old toys was something really special to witness.

Life Inside Me

This time around I'm feeling especially fortunate to be pregnant. Not sure why that is though. Something different so far with this pregnancy is that I can feel my little girl kick, roll and move constantly. I absolutely love it! Since it happens all day, every day, you'd think the feeling would become routine but every - single - time I feel her move I get this wave of happiness and excitement.
I'm looking forward to those first few weeks and months after she's born. I think with Morgan I missed out on some of the enjoyment and special moments since I had no clue what to do with a baby. I also think her health concerns caused a lot of unfortunate feelings of fear and worry for me. Maybe this time will be different, maybe it won't but either way I can't wait for my next little girl to be here!

I leave you with cute pictures of Morgan.

Morgan tied the balloon around her waist and then informed Daniel and I that she was going to float away.

She was given this balloon while we mattress shopped for her new big girl bed. It has since been a great companion for her.

I Love This Little Girl!

Even though things have been busy with preparing for our next little girl, I keep catching myself just staring at Morgan with a huge smile on my face.

Little girls sure are fun!

In order to make room for baby #2, we're having to convert our office into a nursery. That means all our office stuff now has to go either in our master bedroom or garage. I started by cleaning out our master bedroom closet and getting rid of half of our stuff. Then I cleaned out our office closet and transferred that stuff to our master bedroom closet. We're now going to have a desk and computer in our master bedroom. Thank goodness our bedroom is huge!

Right now this adorable little girl is running around our backyard barefoot with Maggie jumping in and out of Maggie's dog pool. Oh to be 2 again!

6 Months Pregnant!

Few More Family Vacay 2011 Pics!

This was our beach house. I'm so glad that Aunt Janet thought to take pictures of the house because I meant to but never got around to it. We made lots of great memories in this house in just one short week!

Another great pic taken by Aunt Janet!

Okay, that's it. I'm officially done posting about our family vacation 2011!

Last Days of Family Vacay 2011

After leaving the beach house, we drove to Steve and Dorothea's house. Abi (Dorothea) was impressed that Morgan made this microphone out of some building block toys.

Yummy, Abi made homemade Mickey Mouse blueberry pancakes!

Grandpa and Morgan played with play-doh for a very long time!

Daniel finally got to open this bottle of wine from his birth year that Steve had been saving for him.

The night before we left we ventured out to this great burger place and ate the best burger I've ever had!

Morgan and Grandpa enjoyed an after dinner walk.

We had a great time but had to head home Monday afternoon. We're all so happy we made this trip!

Last Night at Beach House - Family Vacay 2011!

Since we had to leave the beach house early Saturday morning, everyone made one last trip to the beach Friday night.

I like this one of Cousin Grayson and Morgan playing in the sand.

I also like this one of Cousin Matthew and Morgan.

That evening Daniel kept commenting how nice the beach was at night. If we ever happen to take this trip again, I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot more evenings at the beach. It was a great way to end our beach house adventure!
