It's A Good Life!

It was my beautiful sister's birthday in August! We celebrated with a nice dinner at a fun restaurant in town.
I'm lucky enough to know this amazing person who is not only my sister but a best friend.
While picking Morgan up from summer camp care one day, I got to witness them launching rockets they had made. I never tire of getting to do this kind of stuff during weekdays now. This is exactly the kind of stuff I so missed while working full time during the week. I think I still work the same amount of hours between working at home and at the store but at least now it's completely flexible and up to me. It has literally been priceless.
My girl rocking some karate!

Charlotte!

It was an extra hot day so I was surprised to find Charlotte tucked in for the night like this!
She's such a cutie!

 Child's play...

She got a new bag to hold her dance and gymnastics stuff.

I had asked Charlotte to put on some shoes so we could take Morgan to karate. This isn't exactly what I had in mind but we rolled with it.
One morning after dropping Morgan off at school, Charlotte and I made an extra messy pit stop at Starbucks! Honestly, I hadn't even brushed her hair yet and that combined with a chocolate chip muffin proved to be a messy and fun breakfast!

She asked to play before we left. She said the heart was for me because she loved me.

Even though I had rolled out of bed with no shower or makeup, I took some selfies while waiting on Charlotte in the bathroom lol!

Sum, Sum, Summertime!

The timing of this post is great for me today! It's late January (I'm obviously behind on my blog) and I just noticed that next week's forecast calls for mid-sixties. That made me so sad because I love colder weather and I'm so not feeling ready for increased temps that lead to our crazy hot summers!
However, looking at these fun summer times and pictures relaxes me a bit.

 Frozen yogurt!
 I think they liked it...

Movie Date & Shopping!

The girls and I LOVE going to movies together. Oftentimes we stop for lunch first and have an opportunity to have a meal together at a restaurant. Our family doesn't go out to eat much so this is always a treat.
I thought it was so cute how they brought stuffed animals/dolls to the movies.

This day we were looking for first day of school outfits. Shopping with little ones is challenging but fun too and I know I'll miss it someday.

4th of July!

While poor Daniel had to work during the day on the 4th, the girls and I got to spend the day with Aunt Dusty and Cousin Chase at their house!
Had to include the below picture of Charlotte from a previous 4th of July.
 My festive contribution to lunch...

Dusty painted her and Morgans' nails so cute and festive! I made Dusty put her hand next to this giant spider so you could grasp the actual size of it. She has lots of critters up where she lives.

We met Daniel at home later that evening for fireworks!

Not sure why but Daniel just really dislikes fireworks. I still get them though because look at the girls' faces!
