Sisters!

I enjoy catching them playing together.

I try to take the girls to every birthday they're invited to. This day they had two back to back. First was a jump place and the second was John's Incredible Pizza. I remember LOVING birthdays as a kiddo. Plus I think it's nice for them to get to spend time with their friends and I get to know the moms better.
Morgan learned about plants in second grade and successfully grew a bunch from seeds. I unsuccessfully attempted to replant them. It was only a matter of time before they died but, hey, I tried.

Midwest Family Visit!

Daniel's brothers came out April of 2017 to celebrate him turning 40! Not only did they have a great time together but the girls loved having their uncles around.
Chris and Morgan were having a coloring contest below. Look at that smile on Morgan's face!

Daniel's brothers are always so great with the girls!

Don't let the fact that they were watching sports on the television fool you. They were also being entertained by little Charlotte who sat there talking their ears off the whole time.

 The Irwin Men!
We also got to spend time with Steve and Dorothea who were nice enough to come visit too! We always greatly appreciate and value when family visits!
We enjoyed lunch and a gorgeous walk before they headed home!

Toy R' Us!

These pictures are a bit more nostalgic now that Toys R' Us has closed. I had finally taken them shopping to spend their birthday and Christmas money. I remember what it felt like to walk into Toy R' Us and get to pick something out. It's a pretty memorable experience for a kid!
Charlotte picked what she wanted within 30 seconds of being in the store.
And Morgan gravitated to the "boy" stuff.

Open House 2017!

Daniel and I attended the girl's academic showcase. It's where you get to go in their classrooms and see what they've been working on in school.
Her drawing of Thomas Jefferson I believe. And can you pick out her self portrait below?
Morgan drew what makes her heart full. Her family, music and cats.
Charlotte wants to be a ballerina and enjoys helping me with laundry lol!

Random Everyday Life!

Sometimes I appreciate and enjoy the most random stuff when it comes to my kids.
Like sometimes I look down at a water bottle and rain boots that are brought for use doing our outings and I feel gratitude for these little items that pertain to my girls. I guess I just can't put it into words.

The girls and I love attending birthday parties!

Movie birthday!

Morgan planted some seeds in class and brought them home. I desperately tried to replant them and keep them alive but I failed miserably.
We love our breathtaking tree in the front of our house!

Random selfies!

Charlotte and I were laying on the floor reading together and listening to music when Maggie came and wedged herself between us. Man, we sure love our cuddle buddy!
She was modeling a new shirt she got. It looked darling on her.

 Park play with my babies!

 Backyard games...
Me trying to keep my life organized!
The older I get, the more I realize how much plants bring happiness to my life. I often have vases of flowers the girls have picked for me.
My crafty girl is often creating.

 She's breathtaking!
When you drive a car as old as mine, you don't mind when your kids eat ice cream sandwiches in the car.

Not sure why I was taking pictures of this little fashionista.
I often take pictures of stuff I've signed up for in hopes of remembering what I need to do!

 Easter decoration fun!

 Extracurricular activities!
We had a huge wind storm take out our fence and poor little rose bush too!
