Thanksgiving!

Pics from our Thanksgiving...
We had Thanksgiving at Dusty's house this year.

We went on a walk before dinner.

Morgan was laughing at the dog show on television. Not sure what she found so amusing but she was cracking up which made us crack up too!

Aunt Dusty let Morgan help her make pink juice for Nana.

Morgan let me know it was too cold to be outside without a big coat. Our temps were around 50 degrees.
Dinner pics.

Shortly after this, Morgan fell backwards and hit her head hard on the tile. Mommy spent the rest of dinner with Morgan in her lap watching cartoons to calm her down. She was fine but she gave Mommy a little scare.
Time off with family is always something to be thankful for.
We played lots of Yahtzee!
Another momentous occurrence this Thanksgiving is Morgan got to try a family recipe for the first time! She ate chocolate gravy! Sounds gross but it's delicious! My side of the family eats this dish a couple times a year. Morgan agreed that it was tasty.
Morgan had fun in Chase's hat.

And I had fun sitting on Uncle Frank's and Aunt Dusty's porch looking at this view!

The Park In Fall

We haven't been to the park in a long time. I've been itching to take Morgan partially so I can get out enjoy this time of year! I can't get enough of the cool weather and beautiful trees!

I liked the expression on Morgan's face in the below picture.

Ducks!
Daniel coaxed her to try to pet the ducks. As hard as she tried, she was never successful.

She stood like this for a long time. It seemed as if she was just relaxing while taking it all in. It really was a beautiful day and all of us throughly enjoyed our trip to the park.

She had fun running all over the place.

Good ole' dad always makes her laugh!
I wish for many more trips to the park.

Staying Close To Home

We've been enjoying laying low after finishing up a very busy couple of months. Here are some pictures of what we've been up to.
Morgan has a new love affair with suckers.

Rock star!

Hanging out with Daddy.

Morgan played outside while I enjoyed the fall weather.

Morgan's "surprised" look.

She requested to wear a hat?

Love the sweet smiles she gets on her face while watching tv. Daniel says I get the same look when I watch romantic comedies.

My attempt at Mickey Mouse pancakes.

Not sure she appreciated the shape but she ate them anyway.
Building a fort in our living room was a hit!

Daniel was jealous when he got home from work and saw the fort. We have big plans of making an even better one sometime soon.

Birthday Party!

Morgan woke up from her nap to find a living room full of people staring at her. She didn't know what to think at first.
Her party had a cupcake theme.

I had fun with the details.

Morgan and Aunt Dusty!

Party favors! Each guest got to take their own cupcake home in these fun cupcake boxes I got from The Oriental Trading Company!

There were cupcakes everywhere!
Morgan kept stealing all the candy that was supposed to be used for people to decorate their own cupcake.
I'm innocent! I swear!

Hanging out with Nana and Papa!

Tammy and her Bears cupcake.

Morgan decorated her very own cupcake!

Nana played a game so she could win Morgan a prize.

Then Morgan played herself.

CupCAKE walk!

Morgan didn't want to blow out her candles. She wanted to continue playing in the backyard.

But then she realized that there were all these cupcakes sitting in front of her.
Hmmmm........strawberry.

Good thing she only took a couple of bites from her first cupcake because she's now on her second!

Time to open presents!

In true Morgan style, she gingerly tore the paper off.

She already looks older!

Aunt Dusty and Cousin Chase

Ooohhhhh!

Morgan opened a gift she was really excited about! It was a crib for her dolls. She wanted to try it out first but as she tried to step in it, the crowd yelled "no!" She was devastated.

After seeing the crocodile tears
we decided to let the Birthday Girl

do what she wanted.

She hasn't crawled back in since and she plays with it every day. I guess she just wanted to test it out.

Morgan seemed to have a great time!
