New Years!

Just had to add these fun (and blurry) pictures of Morgan enjoying the trampoline she got for Christmas.

New Year's Eve, Morgan was ready to ring in the New Year with her sparkles and gold!
I've been wanting to take the girls to feed some ducks at a local pond so I thought New Year's Eve was a perfect excuse to make that happen.

They had so much fun feeding the ducks. Charlotte has asked a few times since if we can do it again.

Daniel and I enjoyed steak and shrimp cocktail for dinner. He did a perfect job on the steaks. They were delicious! We actually put the girls to bed at their normal bed time so Daniel and I could enjoy a movie and night together. I'll wait until they're a little older to let them ring in the New Year with us.
We did our tradition of ice cream sundaes with the girls.

And we made our New Years crafts too!

Her mouth was hurting because she had gotten a cavity filled earlier in the day. Poor thing.

Christmas 2015!

We had a beautiful Christmas! My mom, dad, sister Dusty, her husband Frank and their son Chase stayed the night with us Christmas Eve so we could all wake early to start our Christmas celebrations.

Chase was so good about playing hide and seek with the girls. We helped him find a good hiding spot from Morgan!

You should have seen her face when she spotted him. She looked and then stared in disbelief. You could tell she was trying to process what she was seeing.
And while he was up there, Daniel put him to work! Poor Chase.
Morgan and I tested her new easy bake oven by making chocolate cake.
Santa got the girls a trampoline! The boys spent some time on Christmas day building it.

Charlotte and Nana watched A Christmas Story together.
Excuse our torn up furniture. We actually just bought a new living room set. It's arriving in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait!
This girl loves her roli pollies.
I made an egg, veggie and sausage casserole for breakfast and it was a hit. Then I put out the below appetizers and goodies for everyone to snack on until dinner.

The trampoline fit nicely in our side yard.
 Morgan loved it!
 And so did Daniel.
The day was spent relaxing and playing with new gifts.
 Nana's Christmas bling. She's cute.

Morgan quietly worked on this craft for a very long time. I was impressed with her work!
 Love these love birds.
The table was simple but beautiful.
The girls got booted to the kids' table but they didn't seem to mind.

I'm so grateful for everything in my life. I feel blessed.
