Morgan's First Trip To The Dentist!

I have no idea why but I was so excited to take Morgan to the dentist. Her appointment was at 8 o'clock on a weekday morning. I even went out of my way to drive an extra 45 minutes to drop Charlotte off at daycare before Morgan's appointment so that I could just concentrate on Morgan during this "first".
We went to this place that specializes in Pediatric dental work.
She did great! She didn't seem nervous or scared at all.
I was thrilled to learn that she had a healthy mouth with no cavities.
It was a treat for me to get to spend this time with her. Don't want to take any of it for granted even if it is just time spent at the dentist.

Holding Hands

I've been looking in my backseat lately to find this.
They like to hold each other's hand in the car. When I see this, I can't help but smile and tear up at the same time. Moments like this make life so precious!

Easter at Nana & Papa's House!

Daniel unfortunately had to work Easter weekend so I took the girls and headed up to my parent's house. We had a GREAT time as usual. Below Morgan is hunting for eggs the Easter Bunny hid in the house.
Charlotte saw one on the floor and made a bee line for it! She's a natural! :)

It was sweet because Daniel called before he went to work so he could do face time with us. He wanted to watch the girls open their baskets. What a sweet hubby and daddy.
 Investigating their baskets...

Love these two pictures! My sweet girls!

 Morgan showed Nana her goodies.
 Chocolate mouth!

I loved Charlotte's sweet little romper. She looked so cute with her little pudgy legs.

Tea time! Morgan talked about having tea time the entire way up to Nana and Papa's house.
It got really quiet at one point so I went to look for Charlotte. She had opened Morgan's plastic eggs and stuck a mouth full of chewy candy in her face.
 Look at those bulging cheeks!
I was afraid she'd choke so I made her spit them out. That's a lot of candy for one little mouth.
Lunch time! Nana fixed us a delicious ham!

Look at her smile at Papa.

After church we did another Easter Egg hunt outside. It had stormed the night before so Charlotte got sufficiently filthy in her Sunday best.

We already can't wait for our next visit!

Snow!

We ventured out for what has become our annual trip to the snow. Morgan as usual loved it! Charlotte, however, seemed miserable. She had been sick so we think she just wasn't fully recovered. At least that's what we're hoping since Morgan loves the snow so much.

We went to The Sequoia National Park. In a little over an hour we arrived to find a winter wonderland!

Look how red her nose and hand is! She refused to keep her gloves on.

Morgan mainly sled the entire time.

Poor baby was not a happy camper!
Daniel took over holding Charlotte so that I could make a snowman with Morgan. Not bad, eh? It was officially my first snowman and I was happy with my accomplishment.

I had packed a picnic lunch for us but we opted to eat it in the warm car on our way home.
Pretty views and weather we don't see everyday.

Ah, the valley can be so picturesque!

 Blossoming orchards...

 Blue, pink, orange, green.
I leave you with this random video I actually didn't mean to upload. It's just of the girls with Daniel on one of his week days off.
