Beautiful Weather!

I rocked my baby girl a lot this weekend. I don't want to spoil her but I just can't help but love looking down at her while she's curled up in my arms. I love her milky white skin, her baby fine hair, her pink lips and little plump legs. I just sit there and rock her while caressing her and soaking in as much as possible. She's perfect.
We did spend some time outdoors too because the weather was beautiful! It was a bit warm for my liking since it was in the low to mid 90's but still the sunshine was gorgeous!
While Daniel was at work, Morgan, Charlotte, Maggie and I ate a snack of grapes and water outside. Well Charlotte and Maggie didn't but you get my drift...

Nana & Papa Come To Visit!

My Mom and Dad were gracious enough to come visit for a weekend. They watched the girls Friday night and Saturday night so Daniel and I could have some date nights. We REALLY appreciate that they did this for us! We soooo needed it!

I signed Daniel up to become a member of a local winery for his birthday. We got to attend one of their release parties.
Papa and Nana did great with the girls! I took a couple of photos of Nana too but she had just woken up so I think she would be angry if I posted them. She squeaked by this time with no photos but no promises for next time! :)
Relaxing in Papa's arms. So sweet!
Morgan of course still can't get enough of her Aunt Dusty!

Random Irwin Fun!

Best. Easter. Picture. Ever! Daniel snapped this one with his Iphone.
While doing the dishes I hear, "Look Mom! I have a beard!" I looked over to find this...
She stuck a piece of lunch meat to her chin. Gross but really funny too.
I LOVE how they look at each other! I especially love the way Charlotte looks at her big sis!
Craft time! We made a basketball hoop with some household items.
 Charlotte watched as usual.
I didn't give her these leaves. She snagged them while I wasn't looking and was of course sticking them in her mouth. I did the panic-insert-finger-in-baby's-mouth thing to make sure she wasn't successful at biting off any leaves.
Morgan was supposed to be cleaning up before bedtime but instead we found this. She said she made a person. Can you see it? The top starts with two pink eyes.

Four Months Old!

I took Charlotte's 4 month pictures about 10 days late and I'm definitely posting them late because she turned 4 months old the end of March. She's at a fun age because she's smiling, cooing, putting things into her mouth and just being cute in general.
 Please help me
 decide which one
of these
 pictures is the cutest
 because I can't decide.
I just added the below picture because I thought it was cute.

Easter, Easter and more Easter!

On Saturday, I met a couple of women in the Mom's group I'm a part of so we could let our little ones do an egg hunt together.
This was Morgan's first time hunting with other children and she didn't quite get the concept. She thought the kids were stealing her eggs. I'm not joking when I say this is part of the reason I wanted another child. I always felt sorry that Morgan didn't have anyone to hunt eggs with. :)
On Easter day, the Easter bunny brought the girls' baskets.
Charlotte with her Easter basket. Love this silly smile!
Even her cry face is adorable!
Morgan shows off her new head apparel, necklace and special egg!
She didn't waste any time in eating her chocolate bunny. I think she ate lunch just so she could have her bunny afterward.
Happy Charlotte in her Easter outfit! This one's for you Mom! ;)
I liked the below picture. Morgan was saying, "Mom, she's kicking me" and it looks like Charlotte is picking on Morgan.
All better... Morgan really is a great sister! She's so patient even when Charlotte is crying.
Here's an example of her trying to comfort Charlotte when she cries. She's definitely my little helper.
We hung out in our backyard for most of the afternoon because it was such a beautiful day!
I hid more eggs for Morgan to find in our backyard.
The weather was perfect! It was so relaxing! We just laid on a blanket under our tree and listened to the birds sing. You could smell people grilling yummy Easter Sunday food. Charlotte loved looking up at the tree and watching the leaves as they gently swayed in the breeze. Morgan was content to cuddle with me and just hang out. It was REALLY nice! I don't think I've been that relaxed in awhile.
Hope you had a nice Easter too.

Easter 2012!

Morgan was so cute while dying Easter eggs this year. She kept saying things like, "I'm really excited!" and  "Awwww.....beautiful!" and "You're the best mom!"
Charlotte helped by watching us.
By the way, I'm completely aware of how unsafe having her in this seat on top of the table is. I don't take my eyes off of her when she's up high like this. Matter of fact, this seat has been recalled for this very reason.
Morgan is talking...
Easter egg hunt! We did ours a little early this year because we had to fit everything in around Daniel's work schedule. Daniel makes the Easter bunny hide eggs in our living room instead of outside because he says this is how his family did it when he was little. Is this a Midwest thing because in California, everyone I know hides the eggs outside? Maybe we always hid them outside because the weather is always so nice in California this time of year...
Silly Easter Bunny!
Hmmmm.....jelly beans!
Charlotte again just watched. She'll be able to participate more next year!
But she was still happy...
