Irwin August!

We tried a little hole in the wall pizza place near our house one Friday night. We loved it!

Next door to the pizza place is a yogurt shop called Mickey's Yogurt. It was a fun place to take the girls!

Morgan picked out chewy candy to top her yogurt. This place is a child's paradise.

The girls like to play dress up together.
Morgan has been asking for a hanging plant since there's already a nail there from previous owners of the house. I finally bought one and LOVED it. Too bad it died only days later. I'm so sad.

I got plants for our front also but I'm pretty sure those are dead too. Boo!
One night the girls and I had a movie night in bed. It was so fun! I loved relaxing and cuddling in our big comfy bed! Daddy even made us popcorn to enjoy.

My Favorite Video!

I've always adored the way Charlotte chews. I'm glad I thought to take video of it. This is something I would have definitely forgotten as time passed and I don't want to forget.

Simple Life Pleasures!

The girls like to relax in our bed. :)
We drive by a little fruit stand every day on the way to the girls' daycare. Every day poor Morgan asks to stop to get fruits and vegetables. I always have to say no because I never have cash. Finally, one day I had cash so I made a point to stop. Morgan was so excited!
 She picked out cherries!
The girls enjoyed some for dinner.
When Morgan does stuff like the below, she reminds me of my sister. Dusty is so meticulous and Morgan can be that way too.

Yosemite Hike!

As part of my sister's birthday celebrations, I went hiking with her and couple more friends of ours in Yosemite.
We headed to this little historical town. I'll have to go back some day because it was great!

We hiked the Swinging Bridge Trail. It was gorgeous!
I really, really love being in nature and doing new things!

We stuck our feet in the cool water and basked in the sun for awhile.
On the way back, we went off the trail to take a shortcut back to our car. We crossed a river twice and climbed down a couple of brush covered hills. I wasn't nervous because we were being guided by Dusty and her friend who have lived up in the mountains for years. We got back with no issues. It was a little adventure!
After our hike we headed to a Mexican restaurant for lunch and Margaritas! It was so fun! Thanks Dusty for the memorable day!

Summer Swimming & Aunt Dusty's Birthday!

Aunt Dusty's birthday was on a Monday. We headed up to her house the Saturday before to meet Nana and Papa and to swim and celebrate her birthday. Poor Daniel had to work but the girls and I got to go.
Aunt Dusty has bunnies who live in her front yard.
Nana always has treats for the girls. Charlotte was thrilled with the Teddy Grahams Nana got for her.

Papa gave the girls rides on his legs. Love it!

It was a truly beautiful day!
