Ever since Charlotte has been able to speak, she's requested that I hold her. Sometimes it's the only thing that can truly calm her down when she's upset. As soon as her head hits my shoulder, I can literally feel her body relax as I hear her let out a deep sigh of relief. At least once a day she says, "Mommy, I want up!"
She especially likes me to hold her while rocking in the chair in her room. I love it too.
Her room always has this soothing soft blue hue thanks to her teal curtains.
