Visiting Hillcrest Farms for our pumpkin patch trip has become a tradition. With the nature hike, swinging bridge, steam train, hay rides and beautiful pumpkin patch this place is perfect to visit this time of year.

After the girls each picked out a pumpkin (Morgan picked a really big one and Charlotte picked out a teeny tiny one), then we headed over to the steam train.
I know hot cocoa or warm kettle corn would be a more appropriate Fall snack but we live in California! Early October temps still call for sno-cones!
Daniel and the girls made up a song that they sung together while on their nature walk. I was a happy momma following behind them and hearing them sing together.
We had a really great family day.
