I Love Valentine's Day!

I have so much fun with this holiday! I love the pinks and reds and LOVE! Well, it's no secret that I'm a big fan of all holidays. They're an excuse to celebrate and life is definitely something to celebrate!
I wanted to post this post right after the holiday so it would be more relevant but life has seemed extra busy the last few weeks.
The girls and I got crafty and made our decorations this year.

Morgan asked if she could make our chalkboard a Valentine's theme. Loved that! She's learning from me.
I've seen the below cake on Pinterest the last few years and wondered if it was as easy to make as it looked and yep, it was so simple and looked so festive and cute!

And I even tried my hand at chocolate covered strawberries. I haven't made them in years and had forgotten how delicious they were.

The girls worked on their Valentines while I crafted.

I made special chocolate covered strawberries for Charlotte to take to daycare for her Valentine party.
It was early in the morning on Valentine's Day when Charlotte spotted them and asked if she could have one. I couldn't say no.
My girls on Valentine's Day!
I was floored when they came home with all their goodies!
Charlotte asked if she could have a sucker and I said yes. But then I caught her like this. I said she could have a sucker NOT three suckers!
 My goodies to Daniel.
And my goodies to the girls.

They were so excited and ripped into their gifts.

I was so excited because Daniel had the most gorgeous chocolate covered strawberries I'd ever seen delivered to my work.
This was another memorable Valentine's Day.

  1. What a cute idea to place little balloons in their gifts. Too sweet.
