Wonder Valley

For the second year in a row, my company had their annual company picnic at Wonder Valley.

This place is really nice. They have canoes, fishing, pools, water slides, games, trampolines, food, etc.

This year Morgan couldn't wait to get in a boat. She loved it! She kept dancing in the boat and saying "yeah"!

Later we kicked back and relaxed while watching a baseball game.

It was great to be able to sit on the grass

on a warm October day

and enjoy each other.

Morgan sat on my lap, as she and I shared a Watermelon Sno Cone.

This was our view from where we were sitting.

After the baseball game, the three of us played a bit of soccer. Daniel and Morgan are in this picture but you can't really see them.

The surroundings made us feel like we were on a little get-a-way.

While I was in the restroom, Daniel played with the camera. Below, Morgan is doing this thing where she pretends she's sleeping. She'll make this cute snoring noise.

she just started

being silly.

I tried to recreate the great pictures but it was much harder this year now that Morgan is so active.

I also tried to recreate these but it was the end of the day and Morgan still hadn't had a nap. She wasn't having it.

The drive to Wonder Valley is scenic and there are cows just roaming freely. We pulled over so Morgan could see a cow up close. It was exciting to hear her gasp and say, "Cow! Moo"!

This was taken through the car windshield. Still turned out pretty good. Even the sky was stunning! Not only was it a great day but we had a great weekend and I'm grateful.
