Trick or Treat!

When Morgan was two, I took her trick or treating all by myself. We had a great time but truthfully, I was lonely. I watched as big groups of family and friends walked by all trick or treating together. I felt bad that Morgan didn't have any other kids to share the experience with.
Part of what I'm loving about our new house is the fact that most of our neighbors have families the same age as us. When I got home Halloween night, Daniel told me that the neighbor had come over and asked if we'd like to trick or treat with their family. They have a 5 year old, 2 year old and 1 year old. The girls had a blast trick or treating with friends!

This was Charlotte's first year really trick or treating since she couldn't walk last year. She was darling! I held her hand most of the time and guided her to and from doors. I tried to ingrain the image of her waddling alongside of me with her little hand griping one of my fingers.

Morgan excitedly ran along with her friends. She kept seeing school mates and they'd all say hi to each other.
Once back at the house, it was time to pass out candy and indulge. This easily was my favorite year so far!

Gearing Up For the Big Night!

Charlotte stayed home with daddy on Halloween so she dressed festively for daycare the day before. Cutest pink skeleton I've ever seen!

She brought home a goody bag that the girls overindulged in that night. The girls really don't eat a lot of sweets while home so I figured, why not!

Morgan dressed festively the day of and I have to say, these are probably some of my favorite photos of her. It shows what her little personality is turning into. She's smart, outgoing and social.

Celebrating Fall & Halloween!

Washing and baking pumpkin seeds!

I found this gem that Charlotte created one day. :)

 Caramel apples!

 Doing the jig.

We took a beautiful Fall walk to enjoy the cooler weather and trees changing color.

And we stopped off at our park before heading in.
Love her little head of hair. I haven't cut it yet.

She even went down the big swirly slide over and over again.

We made special Halloween treats for Charlotte's daycare. They were a hit.
There are so many fun things to do this time of year!

Charlotte's First Field Trip!

I got to attend Charlotte's very first field trip! She and her class visited a pumpkin patch together.
But first, just Charlotte and I stopped for donuts at a place near our house. I was in heaven.

 The gang!
This is the amazing person who watches my littlest girl during the week.
We definitely need to work on her table manners.

Car Battery

Unfortunately my car wouldn't start after work one day. A couple of coworkers gave me a jump and then I kept the car running while I picked up both girls. We headed to Kragen where a nice gentleman replaced my battery. Man! The price on those have definitely gone up the last couple of years. Anyway, this is how the girls entertained themselves while we waited.
