Morgan turned 2 today!
In preparation for her big day, we baked cupcakes. I was wearing my apron that looks just like hers except mine says, "Domestic Diva" while hers says, "Diva in Training."
She helped stir the batter.
While I mixed the batter, I gave her a bowl of water and a whisk to "bake" with.
She decided it would be a good idea to wash her face with the water.
She put all the cupcake liners in the cupcake tin all by herself.
On her actual birthday, we had dinner at Carl's Jr. so Morgan could play on their playground.
Here she goes!

This is a big deal for us because in the past Morgan has been more cautious than assertive during play. It's great to see her really participate!
Morgan, how did you get way up there?
It was so cute listening to her say, "Yay! I did it!" every time she went down the swirly tunnel slide!
And she's off to go down the slide again! She really enjoyed the playground which is exactly what we had hoped for. We wanted her to have a great time on her birthday and she definitely did just that!

After dinner we went home and ate cupcakes.
Morgan got to open a few gifts too.
We're really enjoying our little 2 year old!
