Best Time Of Year!

I love this time of year! I love the crisp air, falling leaves, pumpkins, pumpkin patches, pumpkin flavored everything, costumes, candy and all the celebrations that come with it!
We went to Hillcrest Farms again this year for our pumpkin patch visit.
Charlotte got to ride her first train!
Love watching the girls smile and enjoy themselves.

Look at that sweet face!

We got some lunch there. Morgan ate a huge hot dog. She's had a huge appetite lately. Daniel and I got a corn dog and they were so good! I know, I know, not healthy but oh so good.

This place has slides,
 pint size castles,
woods, bridges and lots more! Morgan was checking to see if there was a troll under the bridge. :)

 Morgan said, "Come on mom!"

Morgan picked out a little pumpkin with bumps on it.
We haven't yet carved them but we've painted them!

So Thankful For These Past Five Years!

Daniel and I just recently celebrated 5 years together! Even though things have been hectic around here (I'll divulge in future posts) I wanted to do something exciting and different to recognize these past 5 great years. So we decided to go zip lining together. It was both of our first times.

We took a 4 wheeler up to some gorgeous views.

 Our guides were fun.
Somehow the gear isn't exactly sexy...
I'm not going to lie. I was nervous!

Daniel did great! I made him go first on all of them except for the last one.
This was a great experience for us! We had a blast and want to do it again but decided we'll wait until we go somewhere tropical. I feel so blessed and thankful for these last 5 years! I can't wait for many, many more!

Random Picture Overload!

This is what happens when you get behind in posting...
Love watching Morgan balance on this walkway at the library.
Just trying to keep Charlotte entertained. Have I mentioned she's busy? Funny, I just now realized that my parents always used to say the same thing about me.
Morgan and her "princess dog, Maggie."
Morgan and I made Jello cookies. They weren't bad!

 I made Morgan's favorite - strawberry milkshakes!
Just hanging out as a family. I like that now that Daniel has his new phone, he takes pictures. I'm in a lot more photos thanks to the new phone. I even don't mind ones like the picture below where I'm in my pajamas with no makeup. These are the moments I don't want to forget.
 Crazy hair!
Charlotte got caught pulling all of daddy's cd's off his shelf. He was at work so I made sure to send the incriminating photo. I think he got a kick out of it.

Charlotte Lately

Charlotte is a busy girl. She's curious about everything and gets in to everything! She constantly has to have a toy because she's just plain busy. I love her appetite for the world around her. Although she's technically not crawling yet, she's still very mobile. She scoots, rolls, spins, twirls, sits up and lays back down to get around. She's recently started pulling herself up and is learning signs too!
She's very vocal now and has started making all kinds of sounds. She's not afraid to remind us that she's in the room. If we're all in the other room and we leave her, she'll yell as if she's saying, "remember me?" I tried giving her a bath in her pink inflatable duck today on the bathroom counter and that will definitely be the last time she's bathed in that. I could barely keep her from falling onto the floor. She's ready to take on the world and we better be ready. Actually, I can't wait!

Baby Bonnet!

I put Charlotte in the bonnet I used to wear as a baby. I'm such a sucker for this stuff!

Random shot of Maggie :) She's a good girl!
